Popular internet personality Jidon Adams, better known as "JiDion," apologized for "misidentifying an individual" as Ryan Routh. For those unaware, on September 16, 2024, a video went viral on social media platforms such as X and TikTok, showcasing that Ryan Routh, the person who allegedly intended to assault Donald Trump, had seemingly appeared in one of his old videos.
In a now-deleted tweet, JiDion shared X user @FearedBuck's post and wrote:
"Now this man got the FBI at my house, SMH (shake my head)."
On September 22, 2024, the Houston, Texas native took to X to apologize for "misidentifying an individual" in a video. Claiming that the person had "no relationship and absolutely nothing to do" with Ryan Routh, JiDion said:
"In a previous video, we misidentified an individual appearing in that video as Ryan Routh (who allegedly intended to assault former President Trump on his golf course). That identification was inaccurate, and the person so identified has had no relationship and absolutely nothing to do with Ryan Routh or his actions."
The content creator expressed hope that the individual in his video would "suffer no harm" as a result of the misidentification:
"We apologize for our error, and hopefully, the person will suffer no harm from being misidentified - we wish him only the best."
