Kai Cenat and Adin Ross are reportedly slated to embark on a $50K challenge match-up playing the currently unreleased NBA 2K25. As popular streamers, it seems both of them have gotten their hands on early access copies of the latest title in the NBA 2K series. The game will be released globally for players worldwide on September 6.

Adin Ross has already started playing NBA 2K25 on his stream and had quite a bizarre experience after trying out the face scan feature in the game. While he was streaming it on Kick with a few of his friends, Cenat called him up and asked if he wanted to play together. Surprisingly, Adin agreed despite being banned from Twitch.

Kai Cenat is known for his big collaborative streams and he recently went viral doing a Hardcore Minecraft Marathon with YouTuber IShowSpeed. However, Adin is currently banned from Twitch and both Kai and Speed have expressed their disappointment while playing Minecraft about how they were unable to include the 23-year-old in the marathon.

That said, Kai Cenat was the one who called Adin and tried guilt-tripping him for not inviting him to play NBA 2K25:

"Why'd you not play 2K with me? Why do you never want to play with me, bro?"

In his defense, Adin pointed out that he was banned on Twitch and hence Kai would not be able to stream it on his official channel:

"I am banned kid."

It seems that Kai has a workaround as he claimed he would be playing against "Adam." For context, the Twitch streamer has done this before where he would refer to Adin Ross as "Adam" and pretend he is a different person to avoid getting banned.

"Yeah but I am not playing Adin, I am playing Adam."

While it is unclear if this workaround is bulletproof, Kai did get away with it when he called the Kick streamer last year and talked for a couple of minutes while streaming on Twitch. On hearing the Adam plan, Adin seemed very much down to play NBA 2K25 and stated:

"Oh f**k it, when do you want to do it? Tomorrow? Tonight?"

The two streamers then decided that they would be playing the game tomorrow, September 4. Naturally, their fans were very excited to hear about the two popular streamers seemingly collaborating after so long.
