Twitch star Kai Cenat has announced his much-anticipated marathon broadcast of Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice, after his recent successful marathon stream of Bloodborne. The creator had originally expressed his desire to try out the game back in May 2024, along with Bloodborne and the Dark Soul series.

In his livestream on August 3, 2024, Kai Cenat stated that he'd be taking on the "hardest" FromSoftware title. Although he did not reveal the exact date for the broadcast, he stated that Sekiro would be the game he'd be playing "next". He has covered other games in his marathon-style streaming format, such as Elden Ring and its DLC Shadow the Erdtree, along with Red Dead Redemption 2.

Kai Cenat beats two bosses consecutively in Bloodborne

Kai Cenat seems to have refined his skill in playing the Soulsborne games. In an impressive display of his abilities, the creator went for the added challenge of beating two bosses back to back in Bloodborne while nearing the end of the game.

Firstly, he went up against one of the final optional bosses, Gehrman, the First Hunter, against whom he emerged victorious. Right afterward, he went for the main boss of the game, Moon Presence, who also serves as the primary antagonist of Bloodborne.

Kai Cenat managed to beat the game within only 30 hours. This is a far cry from his previous playthroughs, such as Elden Ring, which took a whopping 167 hours to complete. Further, he had died over 1700 times by the time he finished the game.

Veteran streamer Tyler "Ninja" praised Kai Cenat for beating Elden Ring and went on to call him "one of the biggest streamers in the world". He also stated that Kai had put in work, hours, and resources into coming up with streams that are unique and "authentic".

Kai's reputation within the streaming circles is evidenced by his massive record-high concurrent viewership of over 720,000 people. The record viewership involved Twitch stream comedian Druski and comedian-actor Kevin Hart, watching him interact with the celebrities live.
