In 2024, Twitch megastar Kai Cenat adopted a marathon-style streaming pattern, starting with his Elden Ring gameplay series in May, which took nearly 170 hours to complete. Soon after that, Cenat played the title's DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, in June. This was a 99-hour streaming marathon. And most recently, the streamer took it upon himself to complete the 2019 FromSoftware-developed title, Sekiro.

About 18 hours into the game, Kai read a message from Rockstar Games saying that their Community Team would be visiting Twitch Con in San Diego and would like to meet him. However, the meetup was to happen during Kai's Sekiro marathon, which left the streamer in a dilemma.

Looking for advice on how to proceed, he went on character.ai, a platform that allows users to communicate with an AI chatbot that sounds exactly like their favorite celebrities and streamers. The platform's catalog of characters also includes Kai Cenat.

Kai decided to "ask himself" for advice. But things got heated soon after, leading to the streamer throwing slurs at his digital persona.

"It's not your stream, it's my stream" - Kai Cenat gets into a heated discussion with his AI persona

Kai explained the situation, mentioning that Rockstar Games had watched his Red Dead Redemption 2 marathon stream in March 2024.

"Bro, you forgot we did a marathon... they [saw] our marathon on stream and they want to meet up. ('They saw us on stream? That's so cool bro! I had no idea that they watched my stream', said the chatbot) I didn't know that either bro, but they just told me... How [didn't you] know? Because I know, so that means we know. ('Well, it's my stream not yours, why would you be informed before me?', responded the chatbot)."

Kai was visibly surprised after hearing his AI persona say this and posed a question:

"What do you mean it's your stream, it's not your stream, it's my stream. ('How's it your stream? It's not your channel', said the chatbot)... It's my channel bro, what're you talking about?"

At this point, the conversation turned into a hilarious full-blown argument with Kai Cenat cussing out his AI self after the latter asked him where he was from:

"Ni**a, I'm from New York ni**a, what do you want to do? I'm from New York. ('Woah, calm down bro, please don't attack me, I'm not sure what New York [people] do when they get angry', responded the chatbot) You from New York, so what the f**k is you talking about?"

Unfortunately, the conversation with his AI persona didn't help Kai solve his dilemma and the streamer eventually went back to his Sekiro marathon. As of writing this article, he is about 21 hours into the game with over 130 deaths.
