Kai Cenat has joined the ranks of popular streamers who have spoken out on the recent Ava Kris Tyson scandal. For those out of the loop, Tyson has been in the headlines since July 22, 2024, after some YouTubers made serious allegations against her. These included her allegedly having inappropriate interactions with a 13-year-old and supporting controversial cartoonist Shadman.
During a livestream on July 24, 2024, Kai Cenat commented on the controversy, referring to Ava Kris Tyson as a "weirdo." Claiming that the situation was "f**ked up," the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner stated:
"Bro, he's weird, bro. Weirdo. Weirdo. Weirdo. Weirdo. Weirdo! Yes, weirdo! Yes, Kris from MrBeast, bro. It's f**ked up. It's weird. It's weird, bro. It's weird, I don't care. That s**t is weird, bro. Everybody wants to see what I had to say and s**t. It's weird!"
He added:
"I just heard it on some blogs and s**t. I'm like, 'What the f**k, bro?' Like, what is going on, bruh? Like, how do you see... how do you... how do you know the age of someone knowing you're a grown a** man, and still move forward, bro? I don't understand it! I don't. I don't, bro. I don't, gang."
What has Ava Kris Tyson said about the allegations?
Ava Kris Tyson addressed the controversy via a series of posts on X. After apologizing for her "past behavior or comments," the 28-year-old announced that she had decided to permanently step away from "all things" related to Jimmy "MrBeast" and social media to "focus on her family and mental health."
In one of the posts, Tyson responded to grooming allegations, writing:
"I want to add, I never groomed anyone. The person who gets brought up in these accusations @LavaGS has vocally supported that they are false."
She further commented on those "creating a narrative" about her behavior, saying:
"To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen. In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself. I don't want these accusations to impact the hundreds of people who work at MrBeast, which is why I have stepped away."
In addition to Kai Cenat, Imane "Pokimane," Rachel "Valkyrae," and Felix "xQc" have shared their thoughts on the alleged Ava Kris Tyson grooming controversy.
