Kai Cenat was jubilant after QTCinderalla announced that his ongoing Mafiathon 2 stream has been nominated for Best Marathon Stream at the Streamer Awards 2024. The Twitch star started the subathon November 1 as a means to break Ironmouse's current subscriber record on the platform. He has since been livestreaming 24/7 without breaks.
On November 11, Cenat was live-reacting to QTCinderella's Twitch stream, in which she announced the nominees for the Streamer Awards. He was overjoyed when he found out that Mafiathon 2 had been nominated in the Best Marathon Stream category even though it was ongoing and was far from over:
"Nominated currently ni**a! Oh my god!"

Kai Cenat reacts after getting five nominations at the Streamer Awards 2024 including Streamer of the Year
Kai Cenat has had a very successful year, despite missing out the Streamer of the Year title at the 2024 Esports Awards. From massive collaborations with celebrities such as John Cena, Tyla, and Kevin Hart to his marathon video game streams playing Elden Ring and Minecraft with IShowSpeed, Cenat has seen a huge increase in popularity across all fronts.
His LBA (Little Ballers Association) basketball stream also had an impact in the sports community. He was even part of the NBA's opening night where he asked the league commissioner to jokingly announce his name as part of the draft.
QTCinderella praised Cenat in her announcement and revealed that he had bagged a total of five nominations at the Streamer Awards 2024:
