Kai Cenat has called out Rolling Stone for not including his friend IShowSpeed in their list of top 25 most influential content creators, released a couple of days ago. Several Twitch streamers and YouTubers were included in the list, and the omission of IShowSpeed was noted by many in the online community.
In his first livestream back at the Atlanta AMP house, Cenat pulled up the Rolling Stone list of the top 25 content creators, which he incidentally topped. However, his main gripe was the fact that IShowSpeed was not on it at all.
After going through a couple of names on the list, Kai Cenat claimed that about 15 of the featured individuals don’t top IShowSpeed:
"Hey, I am going to be honest ni**a, okay? I spot about 15 ni**as already that I know are not topping my boy Speed. You feel what I am saying?"
"No disrespect to nobody": Kai Cenat feels IShowSpeed deserved to be featured on Rolling Stone Top 25 Most Influential Content Creators list
As the person at the top of the Rolling Stone list, Kai Cenat was taken aback that IShowSpeed was not featured. While scrolling through it, the Twitch streamer noted that while he does not want to disrespect the people who were featured, he could not understand why IShowSpeed's name was omitted:
"Look, I am going to just scroll down this list, no shame, no disrespect to nobody, okay? But how is it that my boy is not on this list? I am not understanding."
Upon seeing RDCWorld on the #19 spot, Cenat said the content creator deserved to be placed higher. He then reiterated his surprise at IShowSpeed’s omission:
"Shoutout RDC, I actually think RDC should be higher. You feel what I am saying. Shoutout Druski, I see a lot of sh*t, but my boy got motion, you feel what I am saying? And it's just crazy like he didn't even make it, period."
Cenat also noted how fellow AMP member Duke Dennis took the #5 spot and even read an excerpt from the article:
"Let me see what they say about Duke. They say. 'Duke Dennis, 30, has his biggest following on TikTok where his charm with the ladies has made him an almost mythic figure for teenage—'. Listen to me, two AMP members in the top five, amazing, clap it up for you all! But look though, nowhere is Speed."
Kai Cenat is not the only one to have called out Rolling Stone for not including IShowSpeed in the list. Duke Dennis himself criticized the publication for the omission soon after the list came out.
