After a 15-day hiatus, Twitch star Kai Cenat hosted a comeback livestream on December 15, 2024, to celebrate his birthday. At one point, the content creator's attention was drawn to his live audience, with several fans asking him to react to the Rolling Loud Miami 2024 music festival.
In response, Kai Cenat stated that he won't be able to watch the special event on his livestream. According to the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner, Twitch had denied his request to react to Rolling Loud, and anything else related to Amazon Music because of his popularity.
Detailing his conversation with Twitch staff, Kai Cenat said:
"Chat, I cannot react to anything Rolling Loud related or Amazon Music related because they said... bro, this is the exact words, my n***a. I asked Twitch, I said, 'Hey, can I react to Rolling Loud or anybody's music or performances?' They replied I can't. I said, 'Why?' They said, 'Because you have a lot of viewers.' So, like, everybody else can react to it but me."
The New Yorker believed that him reacting to the music festival on his broadcast would give them "more exposure":
"I would think it's good for the festival. Chat, all the festivals are not allowing me to react to this s**t because I pull in more viewers, and it f**ks up their s**t. But, isn't that more exposure? So, I can't. Like, if you see other people react to it, I can't, which is crazy, bro! And, it's not Twitch."
Cenat also stated that he would receive a DMCA strike if he watched Rolling Loud on his Twitch livestream:
"The people would DMCA me, copyright me. I don't want to get banned. But the people would DMCA me and copyright me, and strike me, and all types of s**t. And I would lose my vibe, and I would lose my channel, and then it's over. You feel what I'm saying?"

Kai Cenat announces he has a girlfriend
During the same Twitch broadcast, Kai Cenat responded to the rumors about his relationship status by announcing that he has a girlfriend. While he did not name who he was dating, the 23-year-old streamer said:
"You all have seen a whole lot of s**t... and taken it and run with it that may not be true. And I feel like in order to respect me, you got to respect... you got me b**ch, I got a girlfriend, b**ch!"
In other news, Twitch recently honored Kai Cenat with a billboard in New York City's Times Square.
