Twitch streamer Kai Cenat is set to start his second-ever subathon, popularly labeled as Mafiathon 2. Last time, his subathon ended up creating history as he became the most subscribed Twitch streamer of all time, peaking at just over 306K subscribers. Mafiathon 2 is scheduled to start later today (November 1, 2024). However, Cenat has garnered praise even before he has gone live.
The AMP member took to his official Instagram account to reveal that 20% of the revenue collected in the 30-day subathon event will go directly into funding for schools in Nigeria. The streamer wrote:
"I visited Nigeria not too long ago and I absolutely loved it...I say that to say this for the next 30 days while I'm streaming, 20% of all revenue will be going straight to the school that I am still currently building for the kids of Mokoko."
He reiterated his plans, stating:
"We will be going out-of-pocket funding this entire project with a full staff, classrooms, uniforms, etc. 20% of November, starting tomorrow."
Cenat also shared a couple of layouts for the school. He shared this:
"Here are some of the layouts of what I plan to do! A lot of this support in the next month will help big! Thank you."
Kai Cenat to stream with Lil Uzi Vert on Day 1 of Mafiathon 2
Mafiathon 2 is set to kick off with a bang. During his first subathon in 2023, the streamer hosted some big-name guests, and now, on day one of his second subathon, he’s teaming up for an exciting collaboration with popular rapper Lil Uzi Vert.
The streamer announced the collaboration in one of his Instagram stories:
This isn't the first time Kai Cenat has teamed up with Lil Uzi Vert. Back in November 2022, Lil Uzi Vert released his single Just Wanna Rock, featuring a cameo appearance by Cenat. The music video has since garnered over 166 million views.
Mafiathon 2 is set to go live at 6 PM ET (Eastern Time), 3 PM PT (Pacific Time), and 10 PM GMT (UK Time).
