Kai Cenat gives update on the school he's building in Nigeria, claims the "process has begun"

Twitch star Kai Cenat has provided an update on the school he plans on building in Nigeria. For those unaware, Kai Cenat pledged to donate 20% of the revenue generated through his Mafiathon 2 subathon to help build schools in the West African country. Before starting his month-long subathon in November 2024, the content creator shared the following on Instagram:

"I visited Nigeria not too long ago and I absolutely loved it... I say that to say this for the next 30 days while I'm streaming, 20% of all revenue will be going straight to the school that I am still currently building for the kids of Makoko."

During a livestream on December 24, 2024, Kai Cenat disclosed that he plans to return to Makoko soon. While claiming that the school he intends to build is "going to be done," the two-time Streamer of the Year award winner stated:

"To the kids of Makoko - I will be back. I will be back, and when I'm back, the school is going to be done. The process has begun. It's going to be a beautiful story. We've got a whole bunch of money to fund it. And I'll also be putting in more money on top of it to make sure we can fund all the staff and the school, and everybody who works there, and s**t."

Cenat then wished Merry Christmas to his audience and added:

"Hope you guys have a Merry Christmas. I will see you guys soon, and you know, it's going to be fire, bro. It's going to be fire! I will see you guys soon. We're going to have everything rolling soon. 2025 is a huge year. Okay?"

During the same Twitch broadcast, Kai Cenat announced that his highly anticipated livestream, 7 Days of Christmas, is scheduled for next year. Providing details about the special event, the New Yorker stated:

"A year from now, we will not be spending Christmas in this room due to 7 Days of Christmas. You can lock it in, I'm a man of my word, you guys are going to get the craziest 7 Days of Christmas, and I've got my promise! I'm telling you all I'm doing it. The only way I wouldn't do it is if, like, I don't know. But, dead a**, bro!"
