AMP member Chrisnxtdoor went off against Complex magazine for confusing him with Kai Cenat's cameraperson ChrisV (@_ItsChrisV on X.com), who was recently accused of being involved in inappropriate conversations with a minor. In his recent Twitch broadcast titled DEAR COMPLEX..., the creator called out Complex magazine for their erroneous reporting on the matter.
Further, he claimed that Kai Cenat had decided to stop working with the publication for their future joint ventures. He said:
"Kai already said don't want to do sh*t with y'all n****s no more, bro."
AMP Chrisnxtdoor implies potential legal actions against Complex Magazine for confusing him with Kai Cenat's cameraperson ChrisV
The controversy surrounding Kai Cenat's cameraman involves screenshots of alleged text exchanges between him and a minor on Instagram. The screenshots showed explicit and inappropriate texts allegedly sent by ChrisV.
This matter was reported on by Complex, but there was a mix-up between ChrisV and AMP member Chrisnxtdoor. The article has since been updated and states a "Correction" message highlighting the mistake along with an apology.
Despite this, Chrisnxtdoor stated that he had "lawyers" working on the matter, and implied legal action against the publication. He stated:
"Look man, um, Complex, uh, we do have lawyers looking over sh**. Sh** will be dealt with. Um, sh** will be f**king dealt with. For real."
Kai Cenat also recently addressed the allegations made against ChrisV. He stated that he was "not associating" himself with the individual anymore. Streaming from his U-haul, Kai Cenat condemned ChrisV's actions and stated that he should have "stopped texting" upon knowing that he was conversing with someone who was below the age of consent.
The creator also broke down in tears, lamenting how his name was yet again associated with a major controversy.
