Twitch streamer Kai Cenat has collaborated with sports giant Nike to release the brand's first-ever pre-order shoes, which will be a part of its dotSwoosh program. The program shared some photos of Kai Cenat trying them on in his room. The sneaker looks quite similar to the "University Red" color of its wildly popular Air Max 1.

However, the catch is the design, which features a unique pixelated design throughout as an ode to the retro gaming aesthetic of the 1990s and 2000s, as per Nike. This shoe forms one of the first collaborative products created by Kai Cenat with Nike since the streamer signed a deal with the sports corporation in February 2024.

Nike's ".SWOOSH" (pronounced as dotSWOOSH) is the brand's NFT-selling platform, which provides a space for users and customers to create, buy, sell, and trade NFTs, including virtual Nike wearables and apparel.

The platform also allows for a connection between physical and virtual clothing items, as users can order both physical as well as virtual wearables on it. Thus, they can pre-order shoes on the platform and have them delivered to themselves IRL as well.

The 'Low Poly' Air Max 1 shoes can be pre-ordered from the Swoosh.Nike website starting from October 8, 2024, at 12 pm ET. The sizes available range from 3.5 to 18 and will be priced at $150 during the time of release. Further, those who purchase the sneaker will receive it around 120 days following the placement of the order.

Despite being one of the biggest content creators on Twitch, Kai Cenat, along with fellow streamer Nicholas "Jynxzi," was surpassed by VTuber Ironmouse in terms of active subscribers on the platform. On September 24, 2024, Ironmouse reached over 190,000 subscribers on the platform, establishing a huge gap between her and Kai Cenat, with the latter sitting at 101,000.
