Twitch streamer Kai Cenat recently found out that the official Rockstar Games account on X had been following him. This revelation took place when the streamer was hosting a marathon broadcast which consisted of him playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice from start to finish non-stop.

Cenat could be heard shouting out in disbelief upon getting to know that he was being followed by the Grand Theft Auto series developer on X, stating:

"Oh my gosh! Rockstar follows me, bro! Oh my gosh!"

Kai Cenat reveals direct message that he received from Rockstar Games on X

Kai Cenat has become well-known for his marathon broadcasts, which often showcase the content creator trying to play games from their beginning till their end on stream. While calculating interesting metrics such as the exact number of times he has died or his current heartbeat, Kai Cenat has completed games such as Elden Ring, Red Dead Redemption 2, and Bloodborne.

He has also participated in marathon broadcasts collaborating with other content creators, such as the Hardcore Minecraft marathon, which featured Cenat trying to beat the sandbox survival game alongside YouTube star Darren "IShowSpeed".

Despite his sheer popularity, Cenat was still surprised to find out that Rockstar Games had sent him a private message on X. In it, the game developer studio can be seen informing that its team will be present at the TwitchCon 2024 event in San Diego from September 20-22.

The message said:

"Hey Kai, We wanted to let you know that a few of us from Rockstar Community Team will be visiting TwitchCon 2024 in San Diego this week, September 20-22. We enjoyed watching your playthroughs of Red Dead Redemption 2 and would love to introduce ourselves. If you're planning to be at the event, please let us know. All the best, The Rockstar Games Community Team."

Twitch streamers Nick "nmplol" and Wakewilder had a wildly uncomfortable encounter at TwitchCon San Diego, with a man who came up to them and kissed them without permission. While the individual kissed nmplol on the chest, he kissed Wakewilder's hand amid a handshake.
