Kai Cenat's friend and streamer Ray, who goes by rayasianboy on Twitch, was recently invited to join a collaborative broadcast with Twitch CEO Dan Clancy and other content creators. After Ray got on the stream, Clancy jokingly informed him that he had something "serious" to discuss with him.

Clancy then pranked Ray by stating that he had reviewed his broadcast and decided to ban him based on what he had observed. He said:

"And I know you might be disappointed by the news that we have for you here. Okay? But I'm sorry, we're going to have to ban you."

Twitch CEO Dan Clancy pranks Ray by telling him he has been banned from the platform

Dan Clancy is known to take a hands-on approach with Twitch content creators, often collaborating with them on broadcasts and holding discussions on Just Chatting streams. Clancy has previously held streams with Any Means Possible (AMP) member Din "Agent 00," where he compared the "aura" of Kai Cenat and Duke Dennis.

During his call with Ray, however, Clancy stated that he could not divulge what the streamer had done as it was "so bad" that it could not be talked about openly:

"We can't tell you what you did. It was so bad, we just don't want to tell you. We don't want to talk about it..."

Ray, who seemed to be visibly freaked out at this point, pleaded:

"Kai, save me, bro. Oh my god!"

For the rest of the clip, Ray could be heard crying out of despair. He could also be seen rolling around on the floor, dropping his chair in the process. His over-the-top reaction evoked laughter from the rest of the content creators who were present on call.

If Ray had actually been banned from Twitch, it would not be his first time. The streamer was handed a Twitch ban on July 26, 2024. Even though no direct reason had been revealed at the time, it was speculated that the content creator had dropped the "f-slur" while talking to one of his friends on stream on July 24, 2024.

Ray tried to cover it up by stating that he was trying to say "fat a**" and that it was his accent that caused it to sound differently. However, this did not seem to work on Twitch moderation, which was quick to take action against him.

Ray was only banned for a day before being unbanned.
