Kai Cenat often streams with his friend Ray, known as rayasianboy, on Twitch. Despite not being a part of AMP, Ray and Kai have a close relationship, evidenced by their regular collaborative streams. Kai had even flown the former into the United States in August 2023. Coupled with that, he visited Taiwan on February 28, 2024.

However, as revealed by Ray in Kai's Twitch stream on May 26, 2024, the former would be unable to visit him starting this year or the upcoming year due to him having to enroll in military service, which is mandatory for Taiwanese citizens.

Kai is known for his collaborative streams with big artists, musicians, actors, and fellow streamers. He met Ray during his visit to Japan in July 2023. Although the latter was initially a fan, the two eventually ended up becoming close friends as time went on.

However, as revealed on stream, Ray is subject to mandatory military conscription for a year as a Taiwanese citizen. Talking about him having to play "real life Call of Duty," Ray asked Kai to pick up his "reboot card" in case he was to pass away during his active duty period. He stated:

"If I die, you need to pick up my reboot card, you heard?"

Further explaining his situation, Ray stated:

"Yeah, I tell them. Like this year, or last year, I need to go to the military... And I can not go to US bro for f**king one year bro."

Afterward, Kai asked him if this was simply a possibility or a confirmed fact that he would be gone for a year. To this, Ray replied:

"No, no, facts! Facts! A hundred percent, I need to go to military, bro."

Kai Cenat recently had words of advice for Darren "IShowSpeed" and his community amid the latter's relationship with South Korean influencer Amy Flamy. Kai asked Darren's fanbase to not be "weird" and allow the pair to take charge of their relationship without being "annoying".
