Twitch megastar, Kai Cenat, was freed from his six-day voice chat ban on January 11, 2025. This ban was a matter of contention for the streamer, considering his account was suspended for something his fellow AMP member, Fanum, did. Nevertheless, the Roblox team reached out to Kai and apologized, reinstating his account back on the platform.

Roblox enforces strict community standards that prohibit the use of inappropriate language, including cursing, to maintain a safe environment for its predominantly young user base. Fanum, maybe, didn't take this into account and slipped out an F-bomb, despite Kai's warnings. Moments after this, the streamer received a voice chat ban.

Six days later, Roblox reached out to Kai, perhaps after realizing that the streamer himself did not abuse the in-game talking function, and apologized for the confusion.

Kai spoke about the apology in a recent Twitch stream, saying:

"Roblox reached out. Sometimes I be wondering, bro, what the f*ck, like how the f*ck is this even possible. The developers, the people that run Roblox, the people that... that get Roblox goin. Roblox reached out, outta nowhere, behind the scenes, with a sincere apology, on apologizing for me getting banned."

Kai Cenat continued with his story, claiming that Roblox will ensure that moving forward, an incident like this will not occur:

"Roblox themselves reached out to me and said, we apologize for banning you, it will never happen... and make sure that every time on, it'll be, everything will be good and sh*t like that. So Roblox, I appreciate that Roblox... Imma hop on Roblox today and chat, we should be good so we don't gotta be worrying about voice chat anymore and all this other sh*t no more."

Sure enough, about 4 hours into the broadcast, he hopped on Roblox and did not face any issues communicating in-game.

While playing a particular mini-game, Kai Cenat had a slight hiccup after realizing his settings weren't right. While his mic was on, he let out a curse word and quickly after this, reminded himself not to curse:

"The f*ck? Oh, don't curse, they said I'm good though, don't curse."

To curb problems with explicit content, Roblox has increased its moderation efforts, employing a large team dedicated to removing inappropriate themes. The platform has also implemented features to report and block users who violate community standards.

The streamer then went on to play Sing It, and during this time, Kai's viewership peaked at about 79,000 live viewers.

In other news, on January 10, 2025, Kai Cenat found himself in a precarious situation when his Lamborghini Urus became stuck on a snowy road in Atlanta.
