Since Kai Cenat blew up in 2021, he has consistently elevated his game, especially regarding brand sponsorships. In September 2024, the streamer bagged a Nike collaboration to release the "Low Poly" Air Max 1, a part of the dotSwoosh program. These collaborations and sponsorships enable Kai to enhance the production quality of his streams.
On October 2, 2024, the McDonald's social media teased a Kai Cenat collaboration, involving a product called the "Not Not a Big Mac". On October 10, an official advertisement for the product dropped online and fans seemed impressed.
The crux of the commercial was to launch a Chicken Big Mac as a new addition to the menu for American consumers to enjoy for a limited time, and Kai served as a mascot for this.
The ad explores whether a Chicken Big Mac can truly be considered a Big Mac, and McDonald's confidently says, "Yes." On X, fans like @evoynOG commended Kai for a job well done:
"Kai actually cooked with this ad! Going to get one right now, and you should too!"
User @Dieggo mentioned that streamers now have transcended and reached celebrity status:
"It's crazy how the industry changed so fast, streamers are now on the same level as these hollywood actors."
Others, like @itscontursii, echoed this sentiment and claimed Kai Cenat is bringing together streamers and massive companies like McDonald's:
"Kai really setting bridges for streamers and multi-billion corporate companies [this] is fire."
Another user, @wydjoshy_, says Kai might be one of the greatest to do it after this collaboration:
"First Nike now McDonald’s. Bro might be the greatest streamer of all time."
Kai Cenat's McDonald's advertisement drew inspiration from one of the streamer's 2021 YouTube videos

In a November 15, 2021 upload on YouTube, Kai Cenat visited a local McDonald's with a choir group clad in purple robes. The bit involved the group singing Kai's order, a Big Mac with large fries, a Coke, and a McFlurry for dessert. The squad then sang a melodic "Thank you" to the employee working at the pick-up window.
Funnily enough, the choir acting in the advertisement also wore purple robes and sang Kai's order. They assured Kai that a Chicken Big Mac was, without a doubt, considered a Big Mac, hence the name "Not Not a Big Mac."
