Kai Cenat and Ray's friendship timeline explored
Kai Cenat and Ray met in July 2023 when the former visited Japan and explored the streets. Ray walked up to Kai, stating that it was his "dream" to meet the streamer, and asked for a photo together. Later, Kai invited Ray to hang out with him for a day. This marked the start of their friendship, which blossomed over the next year.
Since then, the Taiwanese native has been seen in multitudes of Kai's content, including his streams, a movie, and YouTube videos, and the two are often witnessed spending their time hanging out IRL. Ray has also built a sizable Twitch audience, with 680,000+ followers. The two have also traveled to each other's native countries, with Ray making many visits to America and Kai visiting Ray's homeland on February 28, 2024.
Sadly, Ray announced on May 26, 2024, that he would participate in the compulsory military service that Taiwanese citizens must enroll in. Consequently, once his active military duty begins, he can't visit Kai in the United States for a year.
Through Kai Cenat, Ray has also met big names in the entertainment industry, with his most recent interaction being with comedian-actor Kevin Hart. However, Ray stated that Hart was "lowkey racist" as he bowed to greet the Taiwanese creator, and said "Ni hao," which means "Hello" in Chinese.
