Kanel Joseph gets banned from Twitch for Adult Nudity

Twitch streamer Kanel Joseph, popularly known for his prank videos and Just Chatting streams, received a ban from the platform. This came after he described his experience with a dancer in explicit detail during a live broadcast. Per a screenshot shared by Joseph as part of a post on X, Twitch seems to have issued a "global suspension" on his account and cited "Adult Nudity" as the reason.

The streamer has since issued a response to the move by Twitch. He also said the ban was unwarranted and claimed he had showcased no nudity within the stream.

In the Twitch stream where Kanel Joseph was accused of the Community Guidelines violation, he described an unpleasant experience with a dancer to his audience. However, the creator went into the details of the encounter, while enacting certain explicit aspects of the story he was recalling.

While this is speculated to be the reason behind the ban, Joseph has since contested the punitive measure in a post on X made on August 17, 2024. Joseph stated that he had made his own investigation into the matter and claimed to find no instance of nudity in the Twitch VOD.

In his post, Joseph stated that he had woken up to find his account restricted by Twitch. Requesting the platform's moderation to reconsider their decision, he wrote:

"Woke my Twitch account banned??? @Twitch this is a huge mistake I looked back at the VOD no nudity?? Can you please look back into this"
