Twitch and Kick streamer Felix "xQc" has taken the internet by storm after Drake appeared as a guest on his livestream. On November 24, 2024, numerous videos from the French-Canadian personality's broadcast on the Stake-backed platform were posted on Reddit and X. One of the clips showed Drake arriving at xQc's house and exchanging greetings.
A reaction thread on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit has garnered significant traction, prompting responses from hundreds of fans.
Redditor u/Break_these_cuffs wondered how much Stake paid the Grammy Award-winning musician to appear on xQc's livestream:
"Wonder how much Stake paid Drake to do this," the Redditor commented.
One community member joked that Kendrick Lamar would appear on Sebastian "Forsen's" livestream, given that the Swedish content creator is xQc's Minecraft speedrunning rival:
"Kendrick's going on Forsen's stream," Redditor u/TrampleHorker wrote.
Meanwhile, on X, @iCrazyTeddy wondered whether the former Overwatch pro's collaboration with Drake was the "biggest moment in streaming history":
"Is this the biggest moment in streaming history???" the X user said.
On the other hand, X user @boopyshmurda_ speculated what Adin Ross' reaction to the special broadcast could be:
"I know Adin (is) punching the air," the user remarked.
"We don't listen to that" - Drake instructs xQc to "switch" The Weeknd's music
A 33-second video from xQc's collaboration with Drake has gone viral on X, in which the 38-year-old rapper instructed the Kick streamer to turn off The Weeknd's music. While referring to himself as "real Sixers," Drake claimed that he "doesn't listen" to the fellow Canadian's music:
"You've got to switch this song. We've got to switch this one. We're real Sixers. We don't listen to that."
Another video from the same livestream also trended on the Elon Musk-owned social media platform. In it, Drake responded to xQc's live viewers' "ruthless" comments about him.
He said:
"Shout-out to X's chat, man. You guys are ruthless, man. But, I love you a lot. We all love the s**t talkers, all the crip-walkers, man. We love you guys, man. It is what it is. You know, we love the chirps. It is what it is. It comes with the territory. You're sitting in front of the camera, you've got to take it. That sounded crazy, by the way."
In other news, Drake recently responded to Imane "Pokimane's" criticism of him signing with Stake, asking what the Moroccan-Canadian internet star was "mad about".
