Kick CEO Eddie Craven, aka Eddie, recently commented about Yousef "Fousey" and his recent ban from the platform. After reading a chat, Ed explained that Yousef needed to take things a bit slow and take a step back.
For context, Fousey was reportedly banned indefinitely after the controversial streamer threatened to shoot himself on a broadcast earlier this month. Since then, he has been going viral for his outbursts on social media with many viewers raising concerns about his mental instability.
In a recent stream, KIck's co-founder Ed Craven was asked to give the streamer a last chance and Ed replied stating he didn't think Fousey had been banned permanently. Craven also revealed that the streamer needs to "slow down":
"(Reading chat) Put Fousey on Kick please, give him last chance.' I don't think Fousey was permanently banned from my understanding. Again, I think you know, Fousey just needs to slow down a bit sometimes, you know?"
Ed Craven asks big streamers like Fousey to follow terms and conditions in the wake of the latter's suspension from the platform
In a recent livestream, his audience had some questions about Ed Craven about Fousey. For those who don't know, Fousey has been making headlines on social media after getting banned from the platform twice. The first ban was after he got into an altercation with an employee on camera.
Later on, he was reportedly given a permanent ban from the platform when he threatened to shoot himself on a livestream on Kick. Since then, there has been much discussion about him considering Fousey has been quite vocal about his personal life on social media, revealing that he had fired his therapist and disowned his family.
While talking about the situation, Ed Craven urged popular streamers to adhere to existing rules on his platform and said:
"I think with everyone in streaming, you know? If you've got a big audience especially, you have a responsibility at some times. Especially when you have thousands of people watching you, you kind of make sure you are following the community guidelines at minimum. Not just for the sake of the platform, for the sake of your viewers, right?"
Craven proceeded to explain that he wants everyone to become successful streamers, and even praised Fousey for his energy on camera while asking others to have the right "mindset":
"I think, we want to see everyone succeed on Kick. We want to have people like Fousey with that energy live. But they have got to be in that mindset, you know? They got to have the right energy, and be sticking by the right terms and conditions, terms of service rather."
Readers should note that Fousey had met up with Ed Craven in Australia last month and the streamer had shared pictures of their meeting while announcing that he had re-signed with the platform.
