The Finnish police have detained Kick streamer Pullis for setting his couch on fire multiple times and streaming the incident live from another room in his apartment. On December 10, 2024, many clips from the broadcast began trending on social media.
As the fire grew, Pullis seemed surprised and attempted to contain it. He could be heard saying:
"Oh sh*t, what the f**k!"
He eventually managed to control the flames by dousing them with water and using a piece of cloth to extinguish other areas. However, the stunt soon caught the attention of law enforcement.
Later in the stream, police officers arrived and handcuffed Pullis. Firefighters were also seen in the broadcast while he was being detained.
Why did Kick streamer Pullis set fire to his couch?
During the same stream, Pullis explained his reasons for setting his couch on fire. He said he was moving to Estonia and did not want to take the couch with him, so he decided to burn it for fun live on camera.
In a longer YouTube video, Pullis explained:
"So, I'm from Finland and I'm moving to Estonia and my sofa is burning. I don't know what the f**k is going on. My name is Pullis, I live in Finland. I am moving to Estonia, so I asked my people, 'Are you going to buy my sofa?' They said no. I was like, okay f**k it, let's burn it."

This incident isn't the first legal trouble involving a Kick streamer. In September 2024, a couple of content creators associated with the platform were arrested for allegedly entering an abandoned military base during a live stream.
