Twitch streamer Maks Przychodzień aka "Drututt" has been banned from the platform once again. This is the fifth time that the streamer has faced suspension from the Amazon-owned platform. The first of his five bans came on December 10, 2020, and he was unbanned after a day. Since then, he has been banned on December 23, 2020, June 6, 2021, April 26, 2021 and today (August 31).
The news of his ban first surfaced after the bot account Streamer Bans (@StreamerBans) reported it. Here's a list of the League of Legends streamer's bans (via Streamer Bans):
Why was League of Legends streamer Drututt banned from Twitch?
Popular League of Legends player Drututt has been suspended from Twitch for the fifth time, marking his first ban in 2024. While the platform did not disclose the reason for the ban, the streamer took to his X account to share an explanation.
According to the Twitch streamer, he received a 14-day ban for criticizing a new emote introduced by Riot Games. He stated that he made a sarcastic comment directed at the company for creating an emote that resembled George Floyd:
"14 days for saying 'Akali and Rope Pingu emoji were bad but taking a piss at George Floyd is okay I guess' when looking at the new emote Riot posted. IDK (I don't know) is this deserved? It's not like I was laughing at the tragedy itself but more of how stupid Riot is not to notice."
The League of Legends streamer further expressed his frustrations by writing that he has been struggling mentally and losing his channel for two weeks wasn't ideal for him:
"Bro, this can not be f**king real. I'm already mentally gone really hard from jungling 12 hours a day. Can I not LOSE MY CHANNEL FOR 14 DAYS?"
At the time of the suspension, the League of Legends streamer had just over 593K followers on his Twitch account alongside a subscriber count of over 2K. His ban, however, is only a temporary one (14 days).
