TikTok viral sensation Lieutenant Dan, who became famous after surviving Hurricane Milton on a boat off the coast of Florida, is in hot water after a clip of him saying the N-word on his first Kick livestream garnered attention on social media.
After rising to online fame, Lieutenant Dan was offered a Kick deal by Adin Ross, who spoke with him on multiple livestreams. Ross even promised to get the Florida resident a boat despite his criminal history.
However, Lieutenant Dan's first stream on the Stake-backed platform gained significant attention for the wrong reasons after a clip of him using the N-word went viral. In the clip, he can be heard saying:
"If you want to get back into my good graces, you have to take time. It's gonna be a lot of work and energy, it's going to be heard. Once I cut you off, you're done ni**a. I'm sorry, you're done."
"Nobody's surprised": Viewers bring up Lieutenant Dan's criminal record after he says the N-word on Kick stream
Lieutenant Dan's real name is Joseph Malinowski. The 53-year-old, who became TikTok famous for stubbornly refusing to vacate his boat during both Hurricane Milton and Harene, has a criminal past.
After Terrence Concannon set up a GoFundMe page to raise money for him, netizens started digging up the Florida resident's past. As it turns out, he has been arrested numerous times, and a collage of his mugshots has even gone viral on social media.
Lieutenant Dan once spent a year in jail for attacking a police officer. While most of the arrests were tickets regarding his boat, more serious charges of assault and battery were also brought against him by the police.
In response to Lieutenant Dan saying the N-word, many netizens highlighted his criminal past. X user @Factsboiintown even shared his viral mugshots, claiming the internet sensation's use of the racial slur was not surprising:
"He's got like 50 mugshots nobody's surprised."
Others noted how casually Lieutenant Dan said the N-word.
"Bro said that so casually," wrote @suayrez.
According to some, this was the end of his content creator dreams:
"And just like that we have reached to the end," claimed @royal_bobby24.
Readers should note that Lieutenant Dan's Kick channel is still up and running. It currently has over 3K followers. Considering this is his first offense, there is a chance the website will not take any action against him at all.
