Twitch creator Lily "LilyPichu" recently participated in the Evo 2024 tournament, taking place in Las Vegas, Nevada. In an interesting turn of events, the streamer ended up in a 1v1 Tekken match with Bandai Namco's director and producer, Katsuhiro Harada.

While Lily picked the in-game character of Emilie de Rochefort, also known as Lili, Harada decided on Feng Wei. The two made full use of their character's unique Rage Arts throughout their in-game combat, going in best-of-three match-ups against each other. Despite having a tough time doing so, the OfflineTV member emerged victorious against Harada, with two matches going in her favor.

Netizens were hyped up after seeing the display of skills between the Twitch streamer and the Tekken director. Many complimented LilyPichu for not only holding her own against Harada but also managing to defeat him in the end. On the other hand, users also praised Harada for being a developer who plays his game alongside the community.

What happened during the three matches between LilyPichu and Katsuhiro Harada?

Although one of the rounds saw Lily beat Harada without taking even a single hit, the first match overall went in favor of Harada. He ended up winning after taking a significant chunk of Lily's health repeatedly through a flurry of well-timed attacks throughout the rounds.

The second match has fans at the edge of their seats, with the competition between the two growing fiercer. By the last round, LilyPichu had already won two rounds, and Harada had only won one. With her emerging victorious in the third round and therefore the second match, they moved on to their last match.

Initially, the match seemed to be going heavily in favor of Harada, with him winning two rounds back to back. Lily did not give up, however, and bounced back just as quickly with two consecutive victories. In the fifth round, Lily was virtually one hit away from losing it all.

Before that could happen, she initiated a Rage Art against Harada at the very last minute and ended up thoroughly defeating him. With this, she triumphed in the overall match-ups against the game director.

LilyPichu is a well-established variety creator on Twitch as well as YouTube, with her having 2.4 million followers and 3.07 million subscribers respectively. Thus it is no surprise that she was one of the fifty prominent creators who were invited to MrBeast's recent video, which also involved the likes of IShowSpeed, Kai Cenat, FaZe Rug, and KSI. It became his most-watched video ever within 24 hours.
