YouTube streamer Ludwig and Twitch streamer Alexandra Botez have leveled some concerning allegations about a sponsor they recently cut ties with. The sponsor in question was Americas Card Room, a poker company, which the streamers used to promote. Ludwig stated that he cut ties with the company for failing to pay dues.

During one of his streams, Ludwig was asked which sponsorship deal he regretted associating with, to which the LA-based streamer said:

"The sponsor that I regret the most is a poker company I used to work with called Americas Cardroom. I was only sponsored to play poker. They did have a casino. But I never got sponsored to play the casino. Only the poker."

The streamer also explained that this was not because he felt guilty for promoting poker, but because he found it difficult to withdraw money from the site:

"The reason I regret it is because that company refused to pay me out and the money that I earned playing poker, 'cause I won a bunch of tournaments, I would then gamble on their site and it was so f**king hard to pull the money out. If it's hard for me, it means it's hard for the other people who I was promoting it to play poker. So I stopped working with them."

Alexandra Botez joins Ludwig in calling out ACR over unpaid dues

Ludwig wasn’t the only streamer to criticize ACR for not paying sponsorship money. Popular chess player and Twitch streamer Alexandra Botez (from BotezLive) also voiced her criticism, stating how the company hasn't paid "dozens of creators":

"ACR hasn’t paid out dozens of creators for sponsored streams from well over a year ago, myself included. ACR contracted @EndGameTalent and blames them for ripping them off."

She also revealed that she spoke to the company's CEO, but to no avail:

"While that complicates things, I spoke with ACR CEO who promised to make things right but instead ghosted. They are not trustworthy."

It's unclear which other creators Alexandra Botez was referring to, but streamers such as Karl Jacobs (from MrBeast's crew), Jonathan "JSchlatt," and Nicholas "Sapnap" have been associated with Americas Cardroom in the past.
