Amid the recent lawsuit against MrBeast and Amazon Studios, new reports of a Beast Games production team member getting injured while shooting the game show have gained significant attention online. On September 18, 2024, freelance reporter Steven Asarch claimed on X that the individual was hospitalized after sustaining injuries in the alleged incident.

The timing of this news, coinciding with the lawsuit filed by five Beast Games contestants who accused the series producers of failing to maintain a safe work environment, has only amplified the buzz surrounding the reported incident.

Steven Asarch claims MrBeast production team member is still in the hospital after suffering injuries on Beast Games set

MrBeast promoted Beast Games as the largest game show in history when he announced it earlier this year. However, the series has since been engulfed in controversy. Shortly after filming began, numerous allegations surfaced against the producers, with reports of inhumane working conditions and inadequate medical care.

Everything came to a head on September 18, 2024, when it was revealed that MrBeast and Amazon were named defendants in a class action lawsuit filed by five unnamed Beast Games contestants. Out of the various accusations made against MrBeast, the primary complaint centered around alleged hazardous and hostile working conditions, coupled with insufficient compensation.

Now, freelance reporter Steven Asarch has claimed that a production team member was hospitalized after "a 6-foot by 6-foot piece of the tower at the Beast Games" fell on them, further fueling allegations about the set’s safety. In a post on X, Asarch wrote:

"I can now confirm that at the end of filming on Sep 11, a 6-foot by 6-foot piece of the tower at the Beast Games fell on a crew member. Emergency services were called, and they were brought to the hospital where they still remain."

The news has gone viral on social media alongside the class action lawsuit. However, as Asarch noted in his post on X, MrBeast has yet to comment on the alleged accident and hospitalization. The YouTuber has faced significant scrutiny in recent months due to various controversies, both related and unrelated to Beast Games.

Besides the numerous allegations concerning the game show, the scandal involving Ava Kris Tyson messaging minors earlier this year also stirred considerable controversy, with MrBeast promising a third-party investigation into the matter.
