Twitch streamer Matthew "Mizkif" has addressed the community after fellow content creator Emily "Emiru" moved out of his house. During a stream on July 25, 2024, the Austin, Texas-based personality discussed a YouTube video he posted a week ago in which he announced that he was moving out of his current residence.
In response to "clickbait and lies" accusations, the content creator said:
"I made a video last week about me moving. Right? Everyone said that it was clickbait and lies. No one believed a word I said because it's understandable. It's been three years of me lying, saying I'm moving. I've been saying this for three years. Three-and-a-half years, it was the first time I made a video titled, 'I'm moving to LA.' So, I totally understand that no one believes a word I say anymore."

Mizkif then mentioned Emiru's new room, which she revealed during a recent livestream:
"I think people do believe the background of Emi's new room, which is a new house. So, I'm assuming you all can see and understand that we are actually moving! Yes! It is happening. We are moving. Emi has gone, if you didn't see. Emi has left the building. She's not here anymore. We are all moving out, things are happening, I told you that!"
Mizkif explains why he hasn't moved out of his current residence
At the 15-minute mark of the broadcast, Mizkif disclosed that he didn't plan to move out of his current residence for the foreseeable future. Claiming that he had to clean and "set things up" at his new house, the One True King (OTK) co-founder said:
"I'm not moving out, probably, for if I had to guess... it's going to be, like, four or five months. It's going to be a while, chat. I mean, I have to clean the house. I have to set things up. I have to procrastinate. I have to walk around my house. I just don't have what it takes to be a Hokage. I don't have what it takes to move right now. It's going to be a little bit."
