On January 14, 2025, Matthew "Mizkif" uploaded a video to YouTube in which he announced that the court has dismissed all of the allegations against him from two years prior. For context, in 2022, the Twitch star was accused of covering up a sexual abuse case involving Adrianah Lee, who had accused the former’s friend, CrazySlick, of assaulting her.

While this is not the first time that Mizkif has talked about the court case, this video marks the first time he has openly discussed the emotional toll the controversy has taken on him and provided details about the outcome of the legal battle.

At the start of the video, the streamer referred to the allegations as a “false narrative” and revealed how they ruined his life:

"This is going to be very heavy with what I say, so I just want to keep that in mind while I'm speaking. Two years ago most of the internet believed lies spread by a content creator of false narratives about me that completely had dishonest intentions, that took over the entire internet and ruined my life.

Mizkif stated that Ludwig's YouTube video about the situation had deeply affected him, even causing him to feel suicidal at one point. He also criticized popular YouTubers for perpetuating “the lies” and shared his frustration with how the situation had been handled:

"Many top YouTubers, that you guys even watch, dog-piled on a story that they had no idea of what happened and no intention of the truth. Only further perpetuating the lies that were said about me."

Mizkif then announced that all allegations against him have been dismissed after two years of legal proceedings. Furthermore, the plaintiff was ordered to cover all of his legal fees:

"Fortunately, after two years, I'm finally glad to announce that the court has dismissed all allegations against me in relation to those allegations. After months of litigation, those allegations were thrown out of the courtroom and the plaintiff is required to pay my attorney fees."

Following this update, Mizkif opened up about the ongoing emotional trauma he continues to experience because of the controversy:

"Now, while the internet has moved on from the story over the past two years and realized that the situation was completely made up and false I still bear a lot of the trauma that happened on those days. And a lot of that trauma lies in this house, it lies in this room.
"And every time I walk in here my brain just freezes, I can't think straight, I can't process things. All I think about is the trauma that I have and it just comes out and just sits with me and I can't be in here anymore."

Mizkif also reflected on the positive steps he has taken since the 2022 allegations, such as launching the Iron Forge gym, and concluded the video by expressing gratitude to his community for their support:

"To the people that have defended me over the years, to the community that I have that's been there, I'll never be able to repay you. And thank you so much for being there for me. You have no idea what you mean to me and I hope that I can make you smile as much as you've made my life. Thank you guys for watching. This is the end of this room and I hope to see you guys wherever I go. Peace!"

Readers should note that OTK streamer EsfandTV has commented on the situation, claiming that the allegations were part of an effort to target the Twitch organization itself.
