MoistCr1TiKaL slams those defending Cody Ko for allegedly having sexual relations with Tana Mongeau when she was underage

Twitch star Charlie "MoistCr1TiKaL" has criticized those defending Cody Ko after he was accused of having sexual relations with internet personality Tana Mongeau when she was underage. The streamer slammed such people for underplaying the alleged crime and noted that Mongeau was self-admittedly 17 and not 18 when she hooked up with the YouTuber.

MoistCr1TiKaL added that people trivializing the matter are "brain dead":

"17 is less than 18. Thus that is below the age of consent and is a crime. And I already have seen comments on this situation about, '17, who gives a f*ck? That's basically 18 anyway.' And it's the same dogsh*t, brain dead, concerning mentality like your hard-drive needs to be investigated type sh*t that we saw with Dr DisRespect."

MoistCr1TiKaL also compared Cody Ko's defenders to people supporting YouTube streamer Dr DisRespect, who recently got embroiled in a controversy after admitting to sending inappropriate texts to a minor:

"Where they were like, 'No one should really care that Dr DisRespect was talking inappropriately with a 17-year-old.' Even though, once again, you absolutely f*cking Cro-magnon, there is no evidence that Dr DisRespect talked to a 17-year-old. Not even he said that, it is only ever stated as a minor."

"I don't know how we have devolved so much": MoistCr1TiKaL on Cody Ko's supporters defending him from allegations

MoistCr1TiKaL compared the allegations against Cody Ko and Dr DisRespect before expressing disgust at people who insinuated that Tana Mongeau was "basically" an adult because she was 17:

"Everyone around Dr DisRespect never mentioned 17, it's actually delusional fantasy land Narnia-type sh*t that people are trying to defend him by saying it was actually it was a 17-year-364-days old. Which is absolutely f*cking barnacles. And even still, it's bad."

He then called out people justifying Cody Ko's actions because Tana Mongeau was 17:

"I don't know how we have devolved so much that all of a sudden 17 is something people try and justify. So like in this case right here you will have some drooling, stinky, bumbling morons in the comments who will say how it is not a big deal because 17 shouldn't be an issue.

"'The age of consent over in this region is actually 16, so really he waited till she was old.' Like, it's crazy, it's actually craziness. It is a crime, it is a minor still and it is bad. I don't know why that needs to be explained all of a sudden."

MoistCr1TiKaL pointed out that while Tana Mongeau is not well-liked by many people online, the allegations against Cody Ko seemed solid:

"Something D'Angelo Wallace does make a point of here is that Tana Mongeau is not well-liked. I am sure if you have been on YouTube for any length of time you have heard her name and seen a lot of less-than-stellar things about her. She has a history of lying and putting up bad stuff and bad behavior.

"However, when it comes to this claim, this doesn't appear to be something that she is just lying about for clout to try and elevate her platform on the back of Cody Ko's good name or anything like that. This is a story that's been told even a few years in the past about this situation here."

Cody Ko has yet to address the allegations that were first brought against the YouTuber by D'Angelo Wallace.
