Popular Japanese-Canadian streamer Kyedae has been the topic of discussion lately, regarding her rumored Kick offer. The content creator has been open about her feelings concerning her mental health amid a cancer diagnosis, and in a recent stream, also discussed the alleged offer from Kick, a streaming platform owned by Stake.com.

However, while some streamers, such as xQc, deny Kick had any communication with Kyedae, the popular content creator made it clear where she stood with Kick, and if they had made an offer, the answer was yes. She also clearly stated why she didn’t choose their site:

“Morally, I decided I didn’t want to go.”

Kyedae turned down the rumored Kick offer

The discussion of a deal with Kick began when a viewer asked if Kyedae had reacted to the expose from the ex-Kick staff member. The streamer declared that she had no interest in talking about that particular topic, saying though people have asked her about it, she didn’t care to discuss it.

However, she did seamlessly mention the rumored Kick offer. Her position was that, from a moral standpoint, it didn’t seem right for her to transition from Twitch to the Stake-owned platform.

On the offer, Kyedae stated:

“No bro, and I honestly don’t care. People were asking me about it, but it’s whatever. I got an offer from Kick, and I declined it. I decided that morally, I didn’t want to go over to Kick.”

Part of the discussed rumor of Kyedae moving to Kick was that a staff member allegedly said they could get her for a lower price, due to her cancer diagnosis. Many have reacted to that, such as Pokimane, who called it “evil.” The content creator spoke about that as well in the recent Twitch stream:

“And even if they did try to exploit me for my cancer, um, it doesn’t matter. I’m not gonna take it. I thought it was weird as f**k. I think it’s weird to say, we can offer her cheaper rates.”

The Twitch streamer would then focus on her game of Valorant instead, but she made it clear that Kick made her an offer, and that she flat-out refused it.

Whether it was because they offered her less money because she has cancer, or simply the number of controversial streamers that she would be associated with, the content creator didn't seem to show interest in swapping platforms.
