Twitch streamer Anisa Jomha went off against commentary YouTubers in a since-deleted stream. It is speculated that Anisa was talking about the criticism she and her boyfriend Ian "IDubbbz" faced for the financial failure of the Creator Clash 2 charity event.
The Creator Clash 2 was a boxing event hosted by the pair in 2023, which ended up losing $250,000 instead of raising money for the fourteen charities that they had picked out. The pair were called out by some prominent commentary content creators such as YouTuber ADoseofBuckley, who criticized the event in a video titled, I Told You Creator Clash Was A Joke! - A Dose of Buckley.
Describing her experience on the receiving end of the critique by such channels, Anisa Jomha stated:
"I feel like more people hate me than Onision, and maybe it's because I'm in it. Like, I'm seeing it but that's what it feels like. It feels like I quit college to become the most hated person on YouTube."
Anisa Jomha goes off at commentary YouTubers in recent stream on Twitch
Anisa Jomha and Ian hosted the Creator Clash 2 event on April 15, 2023. The event took place in the Amalie Arena, located in Tampa, Florida. It was not a small-scale event either and involved many creators such as fellow YouTubers Alex Wassabi, Fitz, Arin Hanson, Myth, Mika, Alanah Pearce, and CrankGamePlays. Further, it featured Jacksepticeye and Markiplier as pre-show hosts, with former WWE wrestler John Hennigan also being a part of the line-up.
In a video titled The Harsh Reality of Creator Clash 2, IDubbbz blamed piracy as one of the major factors behind the failure of the event. However, ADoseofBuckley systematically articulated the potential money made through the event and disparaged the pair for alleged inefficient utilisation of the money.
Anisa Jomha stated that commentary creators had "no idea" what it was like to organize such an event, and went as far as to state that she would make the individuals watching the stream "cry." She added that she had done so "in real life" in the past. She also proceeded to flip off the camera twice. She stated:
"Commentary YouTubers have no idea what it is like to work a normal job, let alone put on a whole event. Okay? You have no clue! You f**kers that are looking at this right now, I know, I know that you would f**king cry if I said something to you in real life. I know you would cry. How do I know? 'Cause I've done it to one of you f**kers in real life and you have cried."
Influencer boxing or creator boxing has been all the hype in the past few years, with Misfits Boxing emerging as one of the biggest boxing promotion organizations specializing in this field. Recently, Twitch star Pokimane also seemingly showcased an interest in influencer boxing while sparring with OTK founder Mizkif.
