Paul "Ice Poseidon" Denino, a controversial figure in the streaming world, is known for pushing the boundaries of content creation and has frequently been at the center of streaming platform disputes. After building a large following on Twitch, he was banned from the platform in 2017 due to a swatting incident. Drama has always followed the streamer, and recently he found himself in trouble during an IRL stream.
Ice Poseidon now streams on Kick, a platform that offers creators more liberty than Twitch. His presence on the platform kept him in the public eye but has also attracted criticism for his content choices and alleged involvement in online harassment. On a stream dated November 14, 2024, as part of a joke, the streamer went around handing out flyers that weren't exactly child-friendly.
After a while, a woman caught the streamer and his cameraman outside in a parking lot. She stepped out of her car, visibly furious, claiming Ice Poseidon handed out a flyer to an "underage girl".
The woman angrily confronted the streamer, saying:
"Hey! What the f**k are you doing? Giving that sh*t to an underage girl? ('Listen, it's just a joke, we're handing it to everybody', replied Ice Poseidon) You're lucky my husband ain't here, he'd knock you the f**k out."
What was on the flyer that Ice Poseidon gave out?
The streamer had a bunch of flyer photocopies printed, featuring images of his fellow Kick streamer, Nick White, with provocative captions like “Take Nick White’s Virginity”, “F**k Nick White Tonight”, and “Would You Have S** With This Guy?”
Like Ice Poseidon, Nick White's career is shrouded in controversy. His reputation took a hit when he was temporarily banned from Kick after demonstrating how to code a view-botting tool that manipulates viewership numbers.
White was also involved in a controversial delivery stream with Ice Poseidon, during which they allegedly harassed customers and shared private information on air. In one incident, they accidentally disclosed a customer’s information, spilled an order, and even attempted to guilt-trip for higher tips. This stream led to their deactivation from the delivery app due to harassment complaints.
In other news, Ice Poseidon has refuted claims that he paid people to target and harass Twitch streamers during the recent TwitchCon event.
