YouTube star and Beast Games creator Jimmy "MrBeast" recently took to X to announce the release of his new YouTube video where he helps 2,000 amputees get access to prosthetics. In the same post on X, MrBeast condemns the healthcare system of the United States for not providing these facilities effectively, with a YouTuber having to step in to fill the gap.

Within the post, which has received over 338,000 views within a few hours of being put up, MrBeast wrote:

"Just uploaded a video where we helped 2,000 amputees walk again. Many lived in America and it feels so disgusting that in a country with this much wealth, a fucken YouTuber is their only option to get a prosthetic leg. We need to fix this."

Apart from his typical content, which involves him hosting epic challenges and contests with massive prizes for winners, MrBeast has made philanthropy a central part of his YouTube journey. In fact, he has a channel called Beast Philanthropy, which is entirely dedicated to his philanthropic ventures.

His latest video, however, was uploaded to his main channel. It showcases MrBeast inviting individuals who can't walk due to prior injuries or complications and are thus left confined to their wheelchairs. Due to their lack of insurance coverage, these individuals can't access prosthetics, which cost anywhere from $5,000 to $50,000.

MrBeast personally fitted many of these individuals with the prosthetics, supplied by Martin Bionics. These prosthetics seemingly allowed one individual, Stephanie, to dance with her partner again, and another, Greg, to attend his daughter's upcoming wedding, which MrBeast offered to finance.

Further, MrBeast gave a man $10,000 upon learning that it would take him 10 years to purchase the prosthetic himself.

MrBeast also partnered with a Guatemalan organization called the Range of Motion Project and provided many of the country's residents with functional prosthetics. He also gifted a $65,000 truck to the organization so that the prosthetics could be delivered to the patients' homes. Apart from this, MrBeast also helped individuals in Ecuador and Kenya within the video.

Towards the end of the video, MrBeast said:

"Hey guys, I want to end this video a little differently than normal. And I wanted to say that the fact that some of these people had insurance and were denied, some of these people had insurance but didn't have the right coverage. It just doesn't sit right with me. Their only hope right of now getting a prosthetic leg... is for a YouTuber to step in and help them, which is absurd."

In other news, MrBeast's competitive game show, Beast Games, recently released its fifth episode. This episode featured a special guest, hip-hop celebrity Lil Yachty, who was seen accompanying MrBeast throughout all the challenges the contestants were partaking in. At one point, after a contestant made a mistake that led to his premature disqualification, Lil Yachty was seen trying to hold back his laughter.
