YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" has disclosed that he rented Egyptian pyramids for his upcoming video. On December 17, 2024, a 46-second video from Noah Lyles' Beyond the Record podcast surfaced on social media, featuring a clip from a yet-to-be-released episode, in which MrBeast appears as a guest.

During their conversation, the most subscribed YouTuber announced that he worked with the Egyptian government, and they allowed him to rent the three iconic pyramids for 100 hours. Claiming that he was free to "explore anywhere" in the ancient structures, MrBeast said:

"We got all three of the pyramids of Egypt for a hundred hours. I'm going to do a video where they're going to let me explore anywhere I want to in the pyramids for a hundred hours. So, we're going to sleep at the pyramid, all to ourselves. We worked with the Egyptian government."

While expressing his intention to find and reveal "secrets" in the three Egyptian pyramids, the 26-year-old content creator said:

"I've never been inside of it. I want to just, like, find secrets and just go through all the rooms and the tombs, and that kind of stuff. (Noah Lyles responds, 'Would you have an expert that would guide you?') 100 percent! Yeah, yeah. And then, I want them to be like, 'This is the room no one has seen publicly,' or whatever. I'm so excited because there are all these secret corridors deep below, too. I don't know what to expect."

Furthermore, MrBeast stated that his friends plan on ghost-hunting at the location:

"I don't really believe in ghosts or anything. But some of my friends are going to do it. So, they're bringing all sorts of gadgets, like, to sense out ghosts and things, which I think are a sham. I mean, we haven't filmed it yet. So..."

MrBeast collaborated with several prominent internet personalities to explore an underground city

On October 12, 2024, MrBeast uploaded a 20-minute video titled 7 Days Exploring An Underground City, in which he collaborated with some of the most popular internet figures, including Darren "IShowSpeed," Kai Cenat, Logan Paul, JiDion, and Vikram "Vikkstar123," among others.

Providing details about the thousand-year-old city that the streamer group explored, Jimmy said:

"Although it may look like something straight out of the future, this city is built inside of a mine, dating back over a thousand years ago. And, with countless uncharted tunnels and chambers, who knows what horrors we'll run into?"
