MrBeast drops unexpected giveaway bombshell after Beast Games episode 3 release

YouTube star Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, has announced a $100K giveaway in celebration of the release of Beast Games Episode 3 on December 26, 2024. The third episode of his 10-part Prime Video game show has now premiered a week after the first two were released last Thursday, December 19.

The first two episodes of Beast Games were quite a success for MrBeast, with him announcing that the game show was number 1 on Prime Video in several countries, including the US, India, and Canada. To keep the momentum going, the YouTuber announced a $100K giveaway at the same time Beast Games Episode 3 was released.

In a post on X, MrBeast wrote:

"BEAST GAME EPISODE 3 IS OUT NOW! To celebrate, I'm giving away $100,000 total to 10 random people who like and retweet this post!"

MrBeast has promoted Beast Games heavily online in the lead-up to its release and it looks like he intends to maintain the online engagement even though it is two episodes in. A few days before the premiere, he collaborated with FaZe Clan on Twitch to do a game show based on the Prime Video release.

This is not the first time Jimmy has tried the giveaway tactic to promote Beast Games. The YouTuber did another giveaway hours into the premiere of the first episode in collaboration with Jynxzi on Twitch.

He released the first episode for free and without copyright on the Amazon-owned streaming platform. This allowed other streamers and content creators to freely react to it without fear of demonization.

The first two episodes of the show that were released last week have gotten mixed reviews, with many in the streaming and content creation space calling out the legacy media for its negative critical reception of Beast Games. Only time will tell if the trend continues with Episode 3.
