MrBeast lays out plan to run for President when he is older

YouTube creator Jimmy "MrBeast" took to X to share his roadmap for what he would like to do if he became the President of the United States of America. The creator previously shared his desire to stand for the post if the minimum age limit is lowered. The American YouTuber, currently aged 26 years old, is ineligible to stand as a candidate for the position, as it has a minimum age requirement of 35 years.

MrBeast stated that as President, he would pursue an approach different from appeasing either side of American politics. Instead, he would like to gain advice from experts belonging to both the left and right wings of the political spectrum of the United States.

He wrote:

"If I were President I wouldn’t care about party lines. I’d just always truly make the American people my #1 priority. For problems I’m ignorant in, I’d have experts from the left and right advise me on them and try to find the middle ground that’s best for America."

Jimmy "MrBeast" is a wildly influential figure on the internet as a whole. The Kansas native is the biggest creator YouTube has ever seen, with over 300 million subscribers on his main channel. MrBeast's extensive following goes beyond just YouTube, however, with him having a total of over 200 million followers on other social media platforms like Instagram, TikTok, X, and Facebook.

Taking into consideration the various other accounts that the creator runs on all platforms, the total number of followers that MrBeast holds stands at more than half a billion.

With his extensive wealth and such a massive fanbase backing him up, it is conceivable why MrBeast would seriously consider the prospect of contesting in the elections to become the President of the United States one day.

The creator stated that he would not be preoccupied with prioritizing the interests of his party and "divide" people. He wrote:

"Wouldn’t be buyable, don’t care about doing things just because my party says I should, and I would focus on uniting the country instead of dividing it. Anyways, we can pick this up in 15 years when I’m old enough to run haha."

MrBeast had posted in March 2024, calling out United States representative Nancy Pelosi's trading practices. He stated that he was unhappy with the ability of a member of Congress to be able to "shift" billions of dollars worth of stock.

He was later critiqued for deleting the post, with speculations regarding possible links the creator may have with the Congresswoman. He has since responded to dispel any such speculations.
