YouTube superstar Jimmy "MrBeast" has crossed another massive milestone, becoming the first creator to cross 300,000,000 subscribers on the site. The most-subscribed content creator surpassed the massive number on July 10, 2024, and took to X to share the accomplishment with his fanbase.

Reminiscing the time he had just attained 300 subscribers, MrBeast shared a screengrab of the moment he hit the 300 million mark on X. His post has gotten more than 3.5 million views since it was shared, stating.

"I remember freaking out when I hit 300 subscribers 11 years ago.. lol"

MrBeast makes YouTube history by being the first creator to surpass 300 million subscribers

Jimmy "MrBeast" has been creating content on YouTube through his main channel since 2012, previously uploading under the name MrBeast6000. His earlier content revolved around gaming, specifically Minecraft, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Pokémon Showdown.

MrBeast has accumulated over 75 million followers in 2024 so far. Apart from producing intriguing and extensive challenge videos this year, the creator has focused on expanding his business ventures, such as introducing Feastables to Australian supermarkets. He also recently unveiled his upcoming game show on Prime Video called Beast Games, causing much hype within his fanbase and beyond.

Another factor that contributed to his ever-increasing popularity is his collaborative approach toward content creation, often appearing alongside other well-known names within the creator community, such as Olajide "KSI", Darren "IShowSpeed" and Kai Cenat.

The upward trajectory of his subscriber count can be measured by comparing his growth to the second most subscribed channel on YouTube—Indian music label T-series. MrBeast surpassed T-series and became the most subscribed on the platform on June 2, 2024.

Since then, the creator has outperformed the T-series comprehensively. There currently exists a gap of more than 30 million subscribers between the two channels.

Apart from his main channel, he maintains a separate channel named Beast Philanthropy. He uploads videos specifically showcasing his charitable ventures in countries across the globe, aimed at helping the needy. It has over 25.3 million subscribers.

MrBeast recently made another announcement on X regarding a ground-breaking collaborative video featuring 50 content creators, which is to be released on the MrBeast channel this Saturday (July 13, 2024). The video will involve these participants competing with each other to earn a prize of $1,000,000.

Some prominent names that would appear in the video include Kai Cenat, Darren "IShowSpeed", Olajide "KSI," Kylie "Sketch," Rachell "Valkyrae," Matthew "MatPat," Marques Brownlee, Charlie "MoistCr1TiKaL," and Ibai Llanos, among many others.
