Jimmy "MrBeast" has had a controversial 2024 so far, considering all the allegations against himself, his company, and his businesses. Most recently, the Lunchly drama involving fellow YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI has added another negative perception to the MrBeast channel. It started when YouTuber DanTDM criticized the product on social media.
Regardless of the drama, the YouTuber continues to upload, averaging over 100 million views per video. Most recently, he released the 7 Days Exploring An Underground City video, which involves Jimmy and his team setting out to discover the secrets of a 1000-year-old underground city.
Essentially, Jimmy involved content creators Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed, Vikkstar, JiDion, Logan Paul, Lazar Beam, and others in this challenge. The video was laced with challenges and pranks and fans could see some of their favorite creators collaborate under strange circumstances.
"It was a lot of fun": MrBeast speaks on his latest video upload
As the video wrapped up, the remaining participants, including Logan Paul and IShowSpeed, sat around a fire to close off. While this happened, Jimmy expressed his satisfaction and said his favorite part of the video was interacting with different YouTubers:
"My favorite part was just dragging all these YouTubers to the middle of nowhere, deep underground, and forcing them to hang out with me. It was a lot of fun." (Timestamp - 19:43)
The set on the video was elaborate, with multiple moving pieces and levels creating a whole city for fans to see.
In other news, MrBeast faced criticism online after renting an entire theater for a special viewing event that featured the Talk Tuah podcast and KSI's track Thick Of It, along with a tasting of his new snack brand, Lunchly.
