YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" has once again found himself embroiled in a controversy, as a YouTuber has accused his team of "taking ideas" and not paying for them. On August 10, 2024, YouTuber Ty Ore uploaded a video titled, I Also Worked For Mr Beast, He's a THIEF! In the 23-minute-26-second feature, Ty Ore claimed to have worked off-camera for MrBeast's team and accused them of "taking advantage" of him, and that he was "lied to" and "manipulated":
"I was meant to be off-camera rather than on, and I'm okay with that. What I'm not okay with is being taken advantage of. I was lied to, manipulated, and thrown away like a piece of garbage. Honestly, sometimes I kind of think that this was pretty genius. Like, how could a person so high in status be challenged by a person like me?"
On August 11, 2024, Daniel "Keemstar's" Drama Alert shared Ty Ore's allegations against the most-subscribed YouTuber, adding that the latter accused MrBeast of "taking ideas" and not paying him:
"More MrBeast allegations... A small YouTuber came out claiming MrBeast took his ideas and was never paid. He shows alleged receipts of him flying out to work, (and) footage inside Beast HQ, but never shows evidence that they agreed to pay him."
Approximately an hour later, Drama Alert claimed to have been contacted by MrBeast's team, who responded to the allegations, writing:
"MrBeast team reached out to DramaAlert. 'Here's proof we worked on that idea + thumbnail in 2023. He definitely didn't come up with it as that idea has been floating around for 3 years since Fall Guys came out."

What did YouTuber Ty Ore say about MrBeast's team? Allegations explored
At the 20-minute mark of the YouTube video mentioned above, Ty Ore discussed MrBeast's tweet from June 15, 2024, in which he shared a picture of an obstacle course, claiming that he uploaded the "most insane video ever done." Alleging that the 26-year-old and his team took his idea and incorporated it into their video, Ty Ore said:
"Take a good, hard look at this picture. Does that remind you of anything you've seen so far? (Ty Ore shows a sketch of an obstacle course he drew in a notebook) Do they remind you of anything you've seen remotely close to it? Or does it look like the exact same thing that I drew? The exact same thing that I pitched! Everything!"

Ty Ore then claimed he was not paid by MrBeast's team, accusing them of "exploiting" him:
"Do you know how much I got paid for that? Zero! I didn't get paid a single dime. This man, this company, his employees not only took the time to exploit me, to have me work for them under the false pretenses of a job that wasn't, you know, that weren't available or able to give at the time. Yet they had many people go in and out!"
In other news, former MrBeast employee Matt Turner accused the YouTuber and Ava Kris Tyson of making "wildly inappropriate jokes" about minors during the recent H3 Podcast episode.
