YouTube star Jimmy "MrBeast" has once again made headlines after controversial billboards appeared in Chicago, Illinois, claiming to be "paid for by MrBeast LLC." On October 17, 2024, images of billboards featuring the most subscribed YouTuber's face went viral on X, with the following text written on them:

"F**k Israel. Paid for by Mrbeast LLC. Death to Israel. Paid for by MrBeast LLC."

According to Fox32 Chicago, several electronic billboards in Northbrook were allegedly hacked and displayed anti-Semitic messages.

A spokesperson for MrBeast shared a statement on the matter with Fox32 Chicago, stating that the 26-year-old did not pay for the billboard message and that the authorities and their attorneys were made aware of the situation:

"MrBeast did not pay for this billboard, and after being made aware of its existence, we contacted our attorneys and the authorities about how to have it immediately removed."

Meanwhile, Daniel "Keemstar's" Drama Alert on X reported that the YouTuber had been "targeted by hackers." They provided more information in a series of posts, writing:

"MrBeast targeted by hackers who took over electronic billboards in Chicago. Two signs were hacked. Both were hacked for about an hour. Local community is now very upset. MrBeast is a victim and did not pay for this. The hacking seems to have been planned in advance, as it lines up with the start of a Jewish week-long holiday."

FBI reportedly involved after billboards allegedly got hacked in Chicago "targeting" MrBeast

On the same day (October 17, 2024), Drama Alert claimed on X that even the FBI got involved after the alleged hacking of the billboards in Chicago.

Claiming that Outfront Media, the outdoor advertising media company that owned the billboards, said "national authorities" were investigating the matter, Drama Alert wrote:

"MrBeast Billboard Hacking - FBI involved! The company who owns the billboards has now issued a statement where they state "national authorities" are investigating."

Outfront Media's public response to the situation on X reads:

"We were made aware that two of our billboards displayed inappropriate and unapproved content this evening. We take this matter very seriously. The copy, which was not approved or condoned by Outfront or our advertisers, has been removed. The situation is being investigated, and we are notifying all appropriate local and national authorities."

As of this writing, MrBeast himself has not commented on the situation.
