Popular live-streamer Ali "Myth" is set to return to Twitch after his two-year stint at YouTube. Known for his Fortnite gameplay, Ali announced that he would return to the Amazon-owned streaming platform in a post on X dated December 1, 2024. Replying to a Fortnite news page, Myth wrote that he will be returning to Twitch on December 6, 2024, indicating that he will go back to playing the battle royale game on stream since taking a break earlier this year.

The streamer had announced that he was taking a break from content creation in August 2024 when he revealed that his contract with YouTube had ended. Fans had been speculating about his future at the Google-owned platform then.

Now, it seems like his time with YouTube has officially come to an end with the announcement about returning to Twitch.

"Lots to talk about": Myth thanks fans while announcing Twitch return

With over 7 million followers on Twitch, Myth was one of the most popular streamers in 2022 to have moved to YouTube in July, along with Sykkuno, LilyPichy, and some others. As mentioned earlier, his two-year contract expired in August 2024. He has been on a hiatus since then, being largely absent from his usual streaming schedule and collaborations with friends.

That said, he has been fairly active on social media over the last few months. When Fortnite OG was announced earlier in November, Myth even tagged his former TSM mates Daequan and Hamlinz, asking if they wanted to play with him.

After announcing his Twitch return on X, the streamer made a subsequent post on the thread, thanking his supporters and hinting that he had lots to talk about on his return stream on December 6, 2024.

"Real sh*t tho, life has been a blessing that I’ll never take for granted and I can’t wait to kick it with yall when we turn it up on the 6th. Lots to talk about, till then fam." wrote the streamer.

He is not the only YouTube streamer to return to Twitch now that their contracts have expired. A couple of months ago, popular live streamer Leslie "Fuslie" announced her intentions to start multi-streaming on both Twitch and YouTube. At this time, Myth has not revealed whether he would go down that path, but fans can look forward to his Twitch streams from this week.
