Kick streamer Rangesh "N3on" has reportedly been banned again from Twitch due to him misgendering an individual he encountered at TwitchCon 2024, which was held in San Diego from September 20-22. Despite being told the pronouns preferred by the individual, who goes by "Vightingale" on Twitch, N3on proceeded to use the term "man", stating:
"Oh, okay, alright! Have a great day, man! Oh, sir, uh, man. Sorry, sorry."
Any attempt at opening up his Twitch account now simply leads to a message stating that the account is temporarily unavailable:
"This channel is temporarily unavailable due to a violation of Twitch's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service."
N3on reportedly receives a ban from Twitch after misgendering someone at TwitchCon 2024
After N3on had allegedly misgendered Vightingale at the TwitchCon event, it was met with much disappointment from the streamer, who expressed an inability to understand N3on's "angle". Vightingale could be heard stating the following as N3on repeatedly apologized in the background:
"Yes, you should be sorry because I told you my pronouns... Mistakes happen but like these are the type of situations we run into... and I appreciate, we're both streamers right, but like what's your angle?... You know you came in up friendly and everything but like, what's trying to accomplish here? (sic)"
In response to this N3on clarified:
"I just wanted to talk to you, I messed up, I'm so sorry!"
After this, the streamer offered a handshake to N3on, who stuck his hand out in the form of a fistbump instead. After putting some distance between himself and the individual, he could be heard using "he/his" pronouns, stating:
"Oh my God, bro. The look in her- the look in his eyes. He wanted to beat my a**."
Streamerbans, a website that keeps track of the ban history of content creators on Twitch, also confirms that N3on had been banned from the platform on September 22, 2024.
While at TwitchCon, N3on was served with legal papers by Yousef "Fousey" as N3on supposedly owed him $1,000 as part of a bet, which he had never given to him. Fousey served the legal documents in a brown envelope, with the encounter being captured on a livestream.
