Nmplol and Wakewilder receive unsolicited kisses from fan during TwitchCon San Diego

Twitch streamers Nick "Nmplol" and Wakewilder had an uncomfortable interaction with a man, who gave them kisses without asking for permission from either. The two were visibly uneasy at the advances being made by the fan during their meeting at the TwitchCon 2024 being held in San Diego.

The fan first hugged Nmplol, before repeatedly rubbing his face on the OTK co-owner's chest. The individual then immediately started kissing his chest, leading Nmplol to call him out, stating:

"Alright, we're not doing any more of that. Thank you."

Stranger kisses Nmplol and Wakewilder without permission at TwitchCon 2024

Both Nmplol and Wakewilder were present at the San Diego TwitchCon 2024, which is being attended by many major names in Twitch streaming, including Félix "xQc", Tobias "Tubbo" and Sweet Anita, among others. The event is supposed to go on for three days, from September 20, 2024, to September 22, 2024.

After interacting inappropriately with Nmplol without permission, the individual soon moved on to Wakewilder, putting his hand out in a way that indicated a handshake. The individual stated:

"Sorry, sorry."

Immediately after, he aggressively kissed Wakewilder's hand, before giving him a hug as well. At this point, Nmplol could be seen saying goodbye to the individual, seemingly in an effort to get him to leave the scene. The individual then said:

"You guys are incredible. You guys are the best streamers... OTK on top! OTK on top!"

Despite the majority of streamers' fan interactions being wholesome and amicable, situations similar to the one encountered by Nmplol and Wakewilder are not entirely uncommon. YouTube streamer Darren "IShowSpeed" had encountered a frenzied fan in Bulgaria, who leaned in and decided to kiss IShowSpeed immediately after giving him a handshake. Understandably, IShowSpeed was left quite disgruntled and disgusted by the encounter.
