Kick streamers have often been accused of creating controversial content. Today (September 27, 2024), some of these streamers took to the streets amid a Category 4 hurricane. For those unaware, Hurricane Helene made landfall in northwestern Florida earlier today. Following this, a couple of streamers have decided to host IRL streams surviving the storm.
The two streamers that have garnered strong reactions from fans are Mike "MikeSmallsJr," who is attempting to survive the storm in a tent, and "Wvagabond," who is also hosting an IRL stream outside. These stunts naturally attracted some heated reactions online. One user wrote:
"Not your best idea bud," said @highwind_85
A category 4 storm can cause heavy damage to trees, mobile homes, and other structures. Seeing the streamers go outside despite warnings, a couple of users mockingly reacted by stating:
"Soon-to-be-former* Kick streamer," said @essdoubleyousee
While user @AustinBA5 remarked:
"Bro is gonna die," said @AustinBA5
Another user called out the seemingly dangerous actions, stating:
"You're all so f**king degenerate and mentally ill. Find some help," said @OldGameEU

Kick streamers have already faced significant backlash due to their alleged disruptive behavior at the recently concluded TwitchCon 2024. Now, a pair of Florida-based streamers have escalated concerns by livestreaming outdoors during a storm.
The two primary names that have surfaced are Kick streamers "MikeSmallsJr" and "Wvagabond." Both were seen streaming outdoors during the storm, with little to no protective gear. Watch the two viral clips here:
Mike attempted to brave the storm by setting up a tent in the middle of a field. However, things didn't go as planned, as one clip showed the streamer struggling to hold his position while the area became increasingly flooded. Watch it here:
As mentioned earlier, this isn't the first time this month that Kick streamers have faced online backlash. There have been multiple instances where these streamers were accused of causing trouble and harassing others during the recently concluded TwitchCon 2024.
Among those involved is "DBR666," who was accused of harassing fellow streamers Felix "xQc" and Nick "Nmplol." Another streamer, "Turbski1," was caught dangerously shoving another creator onto the side of a moving train. Rangesh "N3on," was also called out for misgendering a fellow trans streamer during the event.
