"Pedophile" - Ethan Klein gives his opinion on Twitch CEO Dan Clancy

H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein has gained attention on social media after sharing his opinions on Twitch CEO Dan Clancy. In a one-minute-59-second clip posted on X, Ethan Klein reacted to YouTuber Mika's Rhetoric video, A Nuanced Conversation on H3 and Public Perception.

At one point, Mika's Rhetoric mentioned Dan Clancy. Upon hearing this, the California native remarked:

"(Mika's Rhetoric says, 'Dan Clancy or whatever, like, the CEO of Twitch, and be...') Pedophile. Okay, well maybe not. Maybe, like... I don't know if that's true. I'm saying I don't know. But, Dan (Swerdlove), you can't say in good conscious that you know for sure he's not a pedophile."

H3 Podcast co-host, Daniel "Dan" Swerdlove, seemed not to agree with Klein's remarks. However, he described the Twitch CEO as "creepy":

"Definitely not. Hold on, that wasn't even worth the accusation. I can definitely say that he is. He is a creep. He is a certified creep. That we publicly know. Yeah, so, we could just probably leave it at that."

Ethan Klein provided clarification on the statement he made, saying:

"I didn't say he is! (Dan says, 'Yes, you did.') I said, 'Pedophile.' All I said is pedophile. I don't know for sure. (Ethan Klein shows Dan Clancy's picture on Google) You're telling me this guy... I've got a lot to say about Danny Boy in my video."

The 39-year-old then claimed he was "kidding":

"I'm kidding. Guys, it's all very obvious I'm kidding. It's not serious. I said I don't know if he's a pedophile. But, Dan, you can't say you don't know."

Daniel Swerdlove responded:

"I can say that I wouldn't comment on whether he is a pedophile or not because I have no evidence one way or the other. What I do know is that he creeps on young women. He creeps on young women that are far too young for him."

When Ethan Klein accused Twitch CEO Dan Clancy of "hating Jewish people"

In October 2024, Nico "Sneako" and Fresh & Fit Podcast's Twitch channels got unbanned. Ethan Klein commented on the situation during an episode of the H3 Podcast, accusing Twitch CEO Dan Clancy of "hating Jewish people."

While describing the controversial internet personalities and anti-Semites, Klein said:

"They unblocked Sneako, like last week. Now this week, they unbanned Fresh and Fit. Yeah, and these are, like, the two most anti-Semitic, like, openly anti-Semitic content creators online. They are both holocaust-denying anti-Semites. So, they are both getting unbanned while simultaneously, stuff like showing terrorist propaganda on Twitch is not being punished. What the f**k is going on there?"

Sneako was eventually permanently banned from the Amazon-owned platform on October 22, 2024.
