Kai Cenat's McDonald's collaboration bore its fruits on October 10 with the launch of the Chicken Big Mac, along with a commercial featuring the popular Twitch streamer. Kai took this opportunity to drive to a local McDonald's to get his Big Mac while live broadcasting on Twitch.
However, it seems that the McDonald's employees knew Kai Cenat was coming, and even though he ordered a couple of Chicken Big Macs, they refused to let him pay. The clip has garnered quite a lot of views after being reshared by the viewers, with many fans praising the Twitch star for how far he has come.
"Kai can now brag to all his friends and family about how he's apart of McDonald's world," claimed @evoynOG.
Another fan claimed the streamer had too much "motion":
"The perks of having too much motion," wrote @WigginsWick22.
Some poked fun at the fact that Kai Cenat is a millionaire and could have easily paid for the meal.
"The homeless man on the corner watching wishing he could get free food as the rich man in his lambo gets it for free," said @ralphjrgives.
Fans also noted how the Twitch star had pulled up to the McDonald's playing his own song Bustdown Rolle Avalanche.
"Pulled up playing bust down Rollie," pointed out @WorldHallOfFun.
Watch: Kai Cenat pulls up to a McDonald's playing Bustdown Rolle Avalanche to get the Chicken Big Mac that he did an ad for
For those who are unaware, McDonald's has brought the chicken version of the iconic Big Mac to the United States and Kai was the face of the promotional campaign. The fast-food chain had teased that there would be a collaboration with the Twitch star earlier this month.
Since then, the official social media account for McDonald's has been sharing multiple snapshots of Kai Cenat eating the Chicken Big Mac. However, the official ad for the collaboration was only released on October 10, after which the streamer decided to head to a local McDonald's to try the new menu item live on stream.
Kai pulled into the drive-through line blasting his most popular song on Spotify, Bustdown Rolle Avalanche. The streamer proceeded to order a few Chicken Big Macs while trying to banter with the lady taking his order. While she didn't seem to know him, the persona in charge of billing sure did and greeted the Twitch star with:
"How's it going Kai?"
This made Kai Cenat burst out in laughter and after they exchanged pleasantries the employee claimed that he did not have to pay:
"It's on us today man. It's on today, personally, personally. Not really, it's on all of us."
Kai still put up a fight, stating that he did not want to have food for free:
"Wait, so I don't have to pay? I want to pay though."
The two also talked about the new item, the Chicken Big Mac. After the guy at the counter stated that he had already made 50 since that morning, Kai started whopping because the product he was in an advert for was doing well:
"So it's going good? Oh!"
Before leaving, the streamer gave the employee a big tip, which made the man quite happy:
"That's crazy, you're insane! I love you, you're the best."
Kai Cenat then proceeded to pick up his order before going back to the AMP house to continue streaming. There, Fanum surprised him by bringing in a band and the iconic McDonald's mascot, Grimace, to enforce the "Fanum Tax" on Kai's Chicken Big Mac.
