YouTube star Felix "PewDiePie" recently uploaded a video to his channel in which he collaborated with long-time friend and fellow YouTuber Ken "CinnamonToastKen" to discuss the wide availability of podcasts, specifically those within the "alpha male" realm. Some podcasts that he discussed during the video were Call Her Daddy by Alex Cooper and Sidemen's Sidecast.

During the video, PewDiePie also mentioned Joe Rogan's podcast and labeled it "very dumb." Talking to CinnamonToastKen, he said:

"Cause I had this epiphany, I'm like, oh, he's like the biggest podcast. I never actually listened an episode, so I'm like, oh, he's actually, respectfully, very dumb!"

After years of making content solely surrounding gaming, YouTube veteran PewDiePie has shifted his content toward vlogs documenting daily life as a father and reacting to content from across the internet.

Meanwhile, Joe Rogan's The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) podcast is one of the most popular podcasts of all time. It has featured various notable celebrities and experts in their respective fields, such as comedians, athletes, and scientists.

Regarding this, PewDiePie said:

"Like, he brings in a lot of people that are smart and I think that's why his podcast is interesting."

JRE is also known for inviting individuals from off-beat or non-mainstream fields, such as conspiracy theorists or fringe thinkers. During his livestream, PewDiePie reacted to a compilation of Joe Rogan not understanding jokes despite being a comedian himself.

PewDiePie said:

"So, there's this compilation of him not understanding- he's a comedian, but there's a compilation of him not understanding jokes, and it's really funny."

He also spoke about "alpha male" podcasts that often showcase men and women seated next to each other, debating on topics surrounding masculinity, relationships, and interaction between the sexes. PewDiePie said:

"I forget that these people exist, it's so weird to me. Like, I'm so far away from it that when I watch it, I'm like, whoa, they sound like 12-year olds. It's crazy."

Despite not being as active on YouTube as his prime days, the Swedish content creator still had a strong opinion on Sidemen member Olajide "KSI's" recent viral song, Thick of It.

PewDiePie suggested KSI sing about "copyright-striking people," an ode to their old-time beef of when the latter supposedly copyright-struck the former's video for using his song Lamborghini. Furthermore, the YouTuber labeled KSI's song as "very corporate."
