Kai Cenat is being trolled for being drafted last on his latest Twitch stream of the Little Ballers Association (LBA) basketball league 2024 Draft. The streamer had earlier announced that he would quit content creation to become a professional basketball player.
On September 27, 2024, Kai Cenat went live at the LBA basketball draft and was extremely disappointed after he did not get picked third, as he had previously predicted. Even Stephen A. Smith trolled the Twitch star for thinking he would get drafted in the top three.
Regardless, Kai did get picked at the last moment and proceeded to post a photo of himself surrounded by other youth basketballers, calling them bums.
Fans were naturally very amused that the 22-year-old streamer was apparently going to play in a junior basketball league. Many made fun of him for cussing at kids. Here are some of the reactions from X:
"you got picked LAST in your own league," said @scubaryan_..
"That’s Insane Kai That You Got Picked Last In The Lba In Bro And You Started Swearing At These Kids Bro," wrote @REAL_JAYTHEGOAT.
"Why are you calling little kids bums," asked @heyzuestv.
"25th pick thinks he's gonna survive the little league association," said @seriumvp.
Kai Cenat starts dissing people on stage after finally getting drafted at the LBA 2024 Draft
Kai Cenat expected to be picked third at the LBA basketball draft, however that did not happen. The whole show was seemingly geared towards trolling the Twitch star. At one point, Kai even got a delivery person to bring some food to his table.
While unpacking the boxes, it was announced that the #11th draft pick was none other than the person delivering food to Kai Cenat. Furthermore, the Twitch star's mother got picked by a team while the streamer sat there looking dumbfounded. Mama Cenat, as she was dubbed at the LBA draft, was the #15th pick.
When Kai Cenat's name was finally announced, he was literally the last player to be drafted. Then, the Twitch streamer and his posse excitedly got on stage.
It seems that Kai did not like how everyone had been laughing at him for not being drafted early. At the podium, the streamer started cussing at the crowd, and even directed his words towards Jacobi Jeffries, a kid who got picked as the #3:
"How are you all doing today? I don't give a f**k! Listen, you all laughed the whole time I wasn't drafted. Jacobi Jeffries, f**k you and your family. F**k you, f**k you, f**k you. You all got to see me on the court, regardless. You got to see me in the court tomorrow night!"
As it happens, the draft stream finished with the announcement about the first game of the LBA basketball league, which will be live-streamed on Kai Cenat's channel on Twitch on September 28. 2024.
