Twitch streamer Maxwell "Plaqueboymax" has provided an update on how Josh "YourRAGE" is faring after his injury. For those out of the loop, on July 3, 2024, YourRAGE met with an unfortunate accident as an axe struck his face while he was livestreaming a wood-chopping session. Just as the incident had occurred, the streamer had cried out:

"I'm blind. I'm bleeding. I need a hospital! I need a hospital! I need a hospital, bro! (The streamer's cameraman says, 'Are you serious?') Yes, yes, yes... I lost my eye. I lost my eye! I promise you. I promise you! Ah! I'm not lying!"

On the same day, X user @rageupdates claimed the FaZe Clan member was unable to see out of the eye that had been hurt, adding that there was "no vision as of now":

"The only real update is - he can't see out of his eye, lots of blood, no vision as of now."

During a livestream earlier today (July 5, 2024), Plaqueboymax stated that YourRAGE was "doing better." However, the 25-year-old "couldn't see" with his injured eye.

He elaborated:

"Oh, speaking of Rage - I think he wanted me to give an update. He is doing better. But, right now, he cannot... hold on, let me see what he said. Right now, he cannot see out of the eye that was, what's it called... so y'all keep in him in his prayers, it's swollen. The eye is swollen, like, on the inside. So yeah, he cannot see out of it."

Plaqueboymax urged the community to keep YourRAGE "in their prayers," adding:

"But he is resting. Just keep him in your prayers. All right? Keep him in your prayers."

What did fans say about FaZe Clan member Plaqueboymax's update on YourRAGE's health?

Plaqueboymax's clip was shared on the r/LivestreamFail subreddit earlier today. Numerous fans shared their thoughts on YourRAGE's health update, with Redditor u/FowD8 stating that the content creator has a "good chance" of being able to see out of his injured eye soon.

"There's a good chance he might be able to see through the eye eventually depending on how bad it is (though will probably never be 100% again). I know I've read stories of people getting hit in the eye and it takes several weeks to get their vision back. As he said in the clip, inflammation is a huge reason why," said Redditor u/FowD8.

Another community member speculated that YourRAGE may have suffered an "orbital fracture".

"So pretty much confirm at least orbital fracture, will take time for swelling to go down, then vision should come back if not detached retina also," commented Redditor u/SlowMissiles.

Meanwhile, Redditor u/PeeplesPepper talked about their own eye injury.

"I tore my retina with a walnut hit to the eye. No vision for months had to sleep. Sitting up, I have about 50 % back now and don't even notice unless something gets in my good eye," wrote Redditor u/PeeplesPepper.
